Mailman: Deleting a Mailman List
If you wish to request deletion of an active Mailman mailing list, please fill out the Delete a Mailman List form. After a deletion request is submitted, it may take 1-2 business days for the manual process to be completed. Once the list is deleted, you will receive an email confirmation.
If you wish to save your list archive, please make sure to do so before you send a list deletion request.
List Delete Form
The List Delete Form asks for basic confirmation information about your list.
- Your Name: Request must be from a current list owner.
- Your Phone: A work phone is ideal, but any phone that can be contacted in case of a list deletion problem.
- Your Email Address: You must use an email address of the list creator or current owner.
- Mailman List Name(s) for Removal: You can list multiple lists to delete. We just need the list name, not the "@lists.wsu.edu" part of the list name.
